Feedback on Thorness Bay Holiday Park?

Feedback on Thorness Bay Holiday Park?

The park had a convenient little shop which was reasonably priced, as well as a nice big adventure playground and fun swimming pool with waterslide for the kids. Our only complaint was that the swimming pool’s lockers required a £1 deposit, which was a bit off considering the park was already paid for.

The main site was very quiet during the day and at night, and the staff were always smiling. The restaurant on the park served good quality food and was excellent value for money.

Feedback on Caravan?

The caravan was clean, very neat and came complete with all utensils and hot running water. The Television/DVD combo also came in handy on rainy days.

The beds were all made up and had clean lined. There was a good, tarmacked parking space next to the van.

Feedback on Area (What did you do)?

We had a lovely walk along the beach to Gurnard and to Cowes. We went to the Little Gloucester restaurant in the evening, which is a good place to go if you want to spend £50 on a nice meal for you and your beloved.

I also received a certificate for completing the Eegons of Cowes breakfast challenge, which I am particularly proud of.

There is an amazing ice cream parlour in Cowes that does fudge sticks as well as flakes and all the flavours you can think of. In Cowes there is a quaint little herb and spice store that sold biltong and many little herbs and weird bits. There is also an Italian restaurant in the town that served the best pizza!

We completed most evenings with a romantic walk under the stars, usually along the scenic beach near Thorness Bay.
