Notter Bridge Holiday Park is your riverside retreat! This is tucked
away just off the A38 and yet when you drive through the entrance you feel like
you are a million miles away from all the hustle and bustle. Set in 11 acres of
peace and tranquillity nestled between woodland on one side and the River
Lynher the other, in a sheltered valley surrounded by a variety of natural
wildlife. You have direct access to the river for fishing and our own fishing
lake too (licenced salmon and sea trout).
We are very proud to have been awarded the David Bellamy Gold
Conservation Award and have worked very hard to achieve and maintain this. It’s a haven for all species of birds
including Buzzards, Kingfishers and Herons, and there is even the occasional
visiting otter to be spotted around the park’s private woodland walkways. Many
of our holiday home owners have canoes and dinghy’s using our private slipway
to access miles of waterways.
Situated on the Devon/Cornwall border it makes it very accessible. Just
a few miles from the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall you are within easy access of
the beautiful beaches of Looe, the market town of Tavistock, Plymouth and the
fantastic road network of both the A38 and A30 which will take you further on
down to explore more of Cornwall.
Cycling, walking, scenic train journeys, coastal path walking, beaches
and opportunities to visit a range of national trust properties and historic
places just a walk or short drive from the park and a choice of golf courses at
St Mellion and China Fleet too – both with spa facilities if you truly need a
Adjacent to the park you will find the Notter Bridge Inn serving real ale and
good food. Just a very short drive away you will find a Waitrose, Lidl, Iceland
and a variety of shops and also plenty of other eateries in the nearby villages
and the town of Saltash.
The holiday park itself currently has just 50 pitches for holiday
caravans and lodges and really is a lovely quiet base for you, family and
friends to enjoy all that Devon and Cornwall have to offer. This park is just
perfect for those of you wanting the best of both worlds where you have peace
and tranquillity on your doorstep yet with great links to get out and about and
discover the area.
We hope you will quickly notice and feel the friendly relaxed
atmosphere. The James family have had holiday parks for over 30 years and are
still very hands on. Our park manager Clare and the maintenance team provide
cover seven days a week and are always on happy to give advice.
