Marton Mere Holiday Village – For many holiday goers, Marton Mere Holiday Park offers the best of Blackpool, with the peacefulness of its rural location.

Facilities and activities at the park include adventure golf, a SplashZone, Spacebowl flume, exclusive bowling green court and a fun playground area for the kids. When becoming an Owner, you will not only be entitled to a Privilege Plus Card, but you will also be able to use the Owner`s Lounge and decking. It also gives you additional buying power on park, including the Wine Club, Owner`s parties, Experience Days and so much more.

This is a great family park, it has a perfect shop, the pool is brilliant, owners lounge is ok, staff are brilliant. I just feel there could be a better soft play area for under 5s. Other than that, there are plenty of walks the park is good for bus routes, so it pretty much has all you could want.

I like Blackpool anyway, there`s not a lot of negatives - its what you make of it yourself. I will say though the site is not very secure, I drove in 3 times and no-one came out to me to check my details. The cleaners also left their keys in my van. I`m paying 10,000 a year for two vans and that`s a lot of money for what you get. Happy with the location as Blackpool is right next to it. Over-all I`m quite happy but they could do a lot more for the owners with the lounge etc..They seems to cater for those who come at the weekend but not the week, as lounge can be closed.
