How do third party holiday park operators and private individuals advertising a caravan for sale use your personal data?

We pass data to third party holiday parks that sell static caravans and private individuals advertising a caravan for sale only so that they may contact you directly to forward correspondence and call you to discuss your requirements. Holiday park operators will invariably collect additional data about you and should communicate their own data protection policy to you. Holiday park operators may also need to process data about you in order to consider potential or to fulfil actual contracts with you. We recommend that you read those policies. If you do not want to receive communications from those third party holiday park operators, you will need to opt out directly with them.

Future Services - As part of the services we provide, we may use your information to keep you informed by post, telephone, SMS, email or other electronic means such as via social and digital media about current and new products, services, offers and promotions which may be of interest to you. This offer is available for holiday homeowners not located at a Haven park and that want to relocate their holiday home from their current holiday park to any Haven park, subject to pitch availability.  

 

In order to be eligible to participate in the offer, your holiday home must be situated within a 50-mile radius of the Haven park that you wish to relocate to.  The holiday home must be no more than 15 years old from the date of manufacture and if it has been purchased under a finance agreement, the holiday homeowner must provide confirmation from their lender that the holiday home can be moved to the Haven park.    

 

Haven will transport your holiday home from the entrance of its current holiday park location to the required Haven park and will reimburse your transportation costs up-to a maximum value of £750; any excess must be paid by the holiday homeowner.? Haven does not accept any responsibility for any damage that happens to the interior of your holiday home whilst it is being transported to one of our holiday parks. We recommend your holiday home is fully packed down and ready for transportation. Transportation does not include decking.? Any decking bought onto a Haven park must be approved by the General Manager of that park to ensure it meets Haven standards. Siting and connection costs for your holiday home on a Haven park will be paid for by Haven.? Offer excludes payment of holiday home disconnection at your current park and transportation costs from its current pitch to the entrance of its current park. 

 

Site Fees are not payable for the remainder of Haven’s 2023 season but will be payable for the 2024 season at the notified rate. Ongoing running costs (including but not limited to) such as rates, water, electricity and insurance are not included in the offer and will be payable by the owner.    

 

Offer is subject to availability of pitches and the satisfactory completion of our standard onboarding checks.? The offer is not available at Greenacres, Caister Beach, Kiln Park, Lydstep Beach and Kent Coast. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion. Haven reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time without notice.?

Let2Own Offer T&Cs

*Let2Own is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks.  It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.  Click here [add link to the full T&Cs] for full Let2Own information and terms and conditions.

 

Let2Own is available to new customer holiday home purchases made through Haven.  It is not applicable to part-exchanges or private sales.  Available on new & pre-owned holiday homes that are less than 7 years old from the date of manufacture. Available at all Haven parks with the exclusion of Cardigan View, Far Grange, Gerreg Wen, Riviere Sands, Seaview and Skegness.

 

10% deposit required.  Subject to availability.

Owners that are financing the purchase of their holiday home through one of Haven’s finance providers and that are accepted on to the Let2Own service will pay the monthly finance cost to their finance provider and their site fee payment to Haven.

The £549 is based on an average price across 30% of eligible parks under Let2Own. An example of how the cost is broken down between site fee payment and finance payment is based on a per month price of £524.47 derived from the purchase of a £28,995 Atlas Cove 2020, located at Caister-on-Sea and is comprised of the ^monthly finance payment of £426.14 to purchase the Holiday Home (paid to the finance provider) and monthly site fee payment of £537.50 (paid to Haven), less the deduction of the monthly earned letting income of £394.17 and monthly discount for purchasing with Haven of £45.00.  The holiday home price and letting income received will vary by make, model and location. The monthly site fee payment does not include running costs e.g.  utilities, rates & insurance, and add-ons requested at point of sale.

^Representative finance example for the holiday home £28,995, less deposit of £2,899.50, gives a loan amount of £26,095.50. 84 x monthly payments of £426.14. Total charge for credit £9,699.70. Total amount payable £38,694.70 which includes the deposit amount. The interest rate is 5.31% fixed. 9.9% APR (representative). The holiday home price in this representative finance example does not include 2023 site fees, running costs and add-ons requested at the point of sale. Subject to status and availability.

What communications will you receive from us?

How long do you keep my data?
